| Kenneth (Shane) Walton- ASNT NDT LvIII- 295975 Shane Walton has been the General Manager and Instructor at the University of Ultrasonics in Houston since 2018. As part of his role at UofUT, Shane also provides UT consulting services in the Oil and Gas, Aerospace, and Power Generation industries. Prior to his involvement at the UofUT, Shane spent over a decade performing advanced UT duties such as UTSW, PAUT, TOFD, AUT corrosion mapping, FMC/ TFM, etc. for a large NDE company at a major oil refinery in Pascagoula, MS. Shane developed a passion for teaching and R&D early on in his career, which ultimately led him to pursue his UT LvIII, and his duties shifted from a field technician to a role of working LvIII. Shane is originally from Mobile, Alabama and attended the University of South Alabama.Current and previous industry certifications-
